Paul DeWitt Adams (1906-1987), born in Heflin, Alabama, was commissioned to the infantry from West Point in 1928. He served with the 34th Infantry and 8th Infantry Division. Henry Viccellio (1911-1978) was born in Chatham, Virginia, and attended the College of William & Mary. He enlisted as a Private in the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1934, and received his commission as a Second Lieutenant in 1937 after completing flight training at Randolph and Kelly Fields, Texas.
